3. COMMON NOUNS

We keep learning!! We have seen "Proper nouns" and this time we are working with "Common nouns".

First of all we can give the students some examples of different nouns: proper and common. They will have to identify the proper nouns because they are the ones they already know.

After this exercise, we have to introduce the common nouns to the students. We can tell them that the rest of the nouns that aren't writen with capital letter and aren't names of people, places, cities... Are called "Common nouns" and show them some examples.

After all the content, the best way for them to learn is doing activities and keep active. 

One activity could be give them boxes and tell them they have to write and draw common names, whatever they want. 

Another activity that we can do is give them some sentences with blank spaces in the common nouns' place. They will have to understand the sentence and complete it with the correct common noun. Then they have to do a drawing to express the sentence.
