2. PROPER NOUNS

The second lesson is about "Proper nouns". It's important that the children can distinguish between the different types of nouns. 

The first thing we might do is review the alphabet , so the children remember the different letters, small and capital.

After doing this review, we can give them some examples of names. Of course, writing them with their capital letters. We can ask  and try to elicit from the students what similarities they see in all of them. 

When they give us the answer that all of the names have capital letter at the beggining, we explain them that there is a kinf of noun that it's called proper noun. They have the first letter writen as a capital. 

We can explain them that this proper nouns include: names of people, of places, of cities... And it will be better if we give them some examples.
